I think Texas will cave soon. For those that don't want gallo, why? Kid has the highest power grade in the minors. Nobody in the sox organization is even a level below him, let alone at his level. Just take a look at the sox the last 2 games....1 run each game

Sox got shut out for 3 games in a row earlier, sox our in the bottom of HRs yet they play in the best hitters park. We gotta have gallo in any trade with Texas, now he won't be the headliner but he will def be in the trade. I see Mazara, Gallo, Tate, and maybe Brinson plus a lower level prospect.

Phillies are going to rake Daniels over the coals again. He wont give up Mazara but probably a majority of his high end prospects plus Profar or Gallo. For a starter who is injury prone.

Following Scott Lauber's story, word around Chisox Friday was that they had scouts at every Red Sox farm games last night

Honestly, it's almost too quiet on the Boston-Sale front, makes me think there could be serious discussions happening. I can't think of a more perfect pairing for a trade than our two teams. They need a top of the rotation starter and we need positional prospects. This tweet makes me cautiously optimistic.

Also, I really feel like the Yankees could be a dark horse for Sale depending on what they get back in a potential Miller trade. Right now, they have some interesting pieces, but not the headliner you'd need in a Sale trade. If they got a guy like Giolito in return for Miller, suddenly they become a feasible trade partner. Giolito, Torres or Mateo, Sanchez, & Judge is a very solid starting point. The Yankees being a serious option for Sale might even get the Red Sox to up the ante.

Not only that, but the way Sale's and Quintana's last few starts have gone are huge reminders of why we just cannot capitalize on this current roster construction. They practically have to be perfect to win.

I will be disappointed if we don't take advantage of this opportunity.
