Hawk just advocated Sale being traded. It's happening

They said you only trade him if it's a grand slam type deal, not a home run. So I don't think they were pushing for one.

That is very much out of the norm for them to even talk about that, however.

As if to make clear that the trade is not because of the incident, but simply because it's the smart thing to do.

Uh-oh, Hawk talking about the possibility of trading Sale, and he's not totally against it.

Bye Chris.

Yep...I remember in 2010 when he was pissing all over Daniel Hudson's skill set...Hudson was gone a week later traded for Edwin Jackson

Definitely seemed like the announcers were preparing us for a Sale trade

Stuck listening to the Cubs announcers and they aren't talking about anything.. the Baltimore Chop and the Alabaster Blaster is what they are talking about now..

Could it be before Thursday? I'm thinking it will be.

Does Sale get to throw a side session with the team while under suspension or will Thursday's game be the first time he's thrown since his last side? It would suck if he gets bombed by the Cubs offense Thursday while the Sox are negotiating a trade.
