InTheDriversSeat
Tough to win any games, even with our best pitchers, when the Sox can only score 1 run per game like they have for the previous 3 games in a row! Sox need to STEP UP and start scoring some runs! Unusual for a Saturday nite, tonite's game is televised on 'my 50 Chicago' WPWR-TV, not WGN-TV. South Side Fireworks Man
QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jul 30, 2016 -> 02:47 PM) This lineup is the reason you might as well sell this year. Hahn must be so proud of the depth he has built over his tenure as GM.

Chicago White Sox
wRC+ for our lineup tonight: 76 84 116 96 75 88 58 -21 54 Looks like an average between 60 & 70. Wow is that bad.
Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 30, 2016 -> 03:42 PM) That's an impressive lineup QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jul 30, 2016 -> 03:47 PM) This lineup is the reason you might as well sell this year. Was going to say. I was a little worried we might do good against Cubs and then sweep twins causing possibly no trades but the way they've lost the last 3 and possibly today, I don't think I have to worry. Lillian
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jul 30, 2016 -> 04:29 PM) Was going to say. I was a little worried we might do good against Cubs and then sweep twins causing possibly no trades but the way they've lost the last 3 and possibly today, I don't think I have to worry. That is precisely the "silver lining" here. Not only are we headed for another top draft pick, but this should also help the front office to decide to trade some of their coveted players. This is way more preferable than deciding to go for it again. Be grateful. Edited July 30, 2016 by Lillian
Ozzie for Manager
I would trade Avi Garcia or Dioner Navarro for a couple of uncut throwback jerseys and a couple boxes of balls.

ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jul 30, 2016 -> 06:21 PM) As someone posted on Twitter... Avi is here to remind you not to get excited over getting prospects at the trade deadline Although to be fair, only ONE publication ranked him in the top 100 at any point, and that was BA and he was #74. Every package for Sale/Q that has been discussed is involving players MUCH more highly regarded and agreed upon by multiple outlets. I get your point, but Avi wasn't a slam dunk prospect. Panerista
Hawk just said something I genuinely agree with. The Sox can deal with the Cubs. Just has to be the right deal. Well said, Hawk.

ChiliIrishHammock24
Hawk just said on the broadcast that the Rangers are trying to get Sale AND Quintana?? Huh? No way they would want to trade their entire farm for both...I mean, it would have to be like.... Odor, Gallo, Mazara, Tate, Brinson, Ortiz, Ibanez, and Cordell? I mean, that's never going to happen.
