soxforlife05
QUOTE (GreenSox @ Aug 3, 2016 -> 08:49 PM) Frazier. Elite bat. Navarro - swings at a crappy pitch. Didn't look like a bad pitch on gameday. Looked right down the middle. You're not going to win many games in the AL when 1/3 of your batting order are automatic outs. Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 3, 2016 -> 08:51 PM) Detroit looks so much nicer in the aerial shots than if you were actually walking done their streets. Never been. I'd like to see the team play there though. Have you been to Comerica? Edited August 4, 2016 by soxfan2014

harkness99
frazier with the worst situational at bats.. but then again I've seen this for the past 3 years out of a lot of random players. This clubhouse just oozes confidence into its players.

Need that top 10 pick They will get there....easily this is a 90 loss team that will mail in the last two months of the season. flavum
8-22 vs Indians, Tigers, and Royals, with 27 games left against these teams. 15-40 at Comerica since 2010 Stay hot.
greg775
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 4, 2016 -> 01:21 AM) What makes this even worse is Anderson is fading hard and with Tilson out, there's not much to care about Has there ever been a player at his age actually learn how to change his approach? If he doesn't draw bases on balls, no way in hell with 500 at bats he can hit better than .225 or so. He just won't be valuable at all without bases on balls being part of his game. More captain obvious stuff the Sox refuse to deal with QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 4, 2016 -> 01:46 AM) Tigers are on fire. Oh well. Every Central Division team is on fire when we play them except maybe Minnie. They OWN us yet Hahn and Robin keep their jobs. QUOTE (SI1020 @ Aug 4, 2016 -> 02:10 AM) Thanks. You gave me a much needed laugh. Another typical dysfunctional Sox loss. Player comes off the DL, crowd goes crazy, boom, game winning home run, crowd goes more crazy for JD. What I want to know is how in the hell did Hahn think this team might contend the second half. Everybody with a brain knew we'd suck mightily after the all star break ... again. I'm hoping the reason they didn't make major moves at the deadline is because JR is seriously considering changes in the front office. Lip Man 1
Simply amazing... Sox are now 8-22 this year vs. Cleveland / Detroit / Kansas City. Sox are 0-11 ON THE ROAD this season against those three teams. Sox have now lost 14 games where they allowed an opponent three runs or less. Sox have scored three runs or less in 51 out of 107 games (48%). Brutal...just brutal. And Sale won't win 20 this year despite having 14 by the middle of July. ronkark
two comments: Jose Abreu. Does anyone still think he's even an average first baseman? Dropped an easy pop. and then some will forgive the throw home which was straight bit not exactly a laser. He is bad. And on offense he's pedestrian at BEST. bottom tier first baseman. Sorry dems the facts. And Frazier. I watched him do the same thing in Anaheim. Reach for ball way out of zone and watch meatballs over the plate when all he needs to do is put it in play to win or tie. This is not his fault. This is the organizational philosophy of, since Aaron Rowand, continuing to acquire all or nothing, low contact players. he did what i'd expect from a .210 hitter. He struck out. things are bleak people. no one on the way form the minors.
