hi8is
Hansen's quick acclimation to professional baseball is the best thing out of our draft. Mercy!

Feeky Magee
Hansen also with a 54% groundball rate this year. Couldn't be doing much more.
GGajewski18
Where does Hansen start next year? Winston Salem or Birmingham?
Quin
QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 09:40 PM) Hansen also with a 54% groundball rate this year. Couldn't be doing much more. I mean he could be throwing perfect games, but yeah, Sox weren't kidding when they said they saw something.
ron883
My source told me he will be moved to AA and come out of the bullpen, to limit his innings. Could set a September call up if he looks good.
hi8is
QUOTE (ron883 @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 06:48 PM) Could get a September call up if he looks good. No s***?
2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (hi8is @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 08:34 PM) Hansen's quick acclimation to professional baseball is the best thing out of our draft. Mercy! Aaron Schnurbusch is giving him a run for his money. He's been fantastic for a 16th rounder. 2 for 3 so far with a homer. OBP over .500 after 40 games. thxfrthmmrs
QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 08:53 PM) Aaron Schnurbusch is giving him a run for his money. He's been fantastic for a 16th rounder. 2 for 3 so far with a homer. OBP over .500 after 40 games. BABIP too high.
daa84
i hope we dont rush these guys too much. september callup for hansen is too soon IMO, let him continue to develop in the minors fisher also 2/2 with a 2b and a BB tonight
ron883
QUOTE (hi8is @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 08:50 PM) No s***? The Sox are adamant about the "Chris Sale Schedule" for pitchers, when it comes to high pick. Get them in the pen and get them to grace Coop. Coop'll git 'er done! Just let them go through the process
Feeky Magee
QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 07:54 PM) BABIP too high. I'm actually fascinated with this, the all-time MLB record for BABIP in a season (more than 150 PA) was .438, set in 1897, and Schnurbusch is rocking a .541 through 170 PA. Gotta be close to an MiLB record?

Dam8610
They're so aggressive with promotions...why is Hansen still in Great Falls? What more can he possibly prove/learn there?
hi8is
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 07:08 PM) Noo!! For the love of god this organization needs to quit rushing prospects. BigHurt3515
QUOTE (hi8is @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 09:22 PM) Meh. Position prospects I'm with you. Pitching prospects they've handled well - Fulmer being an outlier. Rodon hasn't exactly been close to what we thought he would be and probably could have used more time in the minors. hi8is
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 07:38 PM) Rodon hasn't exactly been close to what we thought he would be and probably could have used more time in the minors. I'll give you him so far as well. Think he's going back to his old "get after em" approach now though.
BigHurt3515
QUOTE (hi8is @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 10:03 PM) I'll give you him so far as well. Think he's going back to his old "get after em" approach now though. Besides those two, Sale, and Danish coming up for no reason. Who else has been rushed to the bigs the past 5 or so years pitching wise?
Dam8610
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Aug 10, 2016 -> 09:38 PM) Rodon hasn't exactly been close to what we thought he would be and probably could have used more time in the minors. Serious, honest question: do you think he would've gotten rid of his mechanical flaw in AAA over the past two years? Also, I don't think Rodon has been bad for a 23 year old, and is not like you can't see his immense potential when he pitches.
