Sox @ Marlins

Jose Abreu

Recommended Posts

I keep reading and hearing that Abreu is happy that his son is with him in Miami. The son has some type of visa from Cuba. I can't help but wonder, if the son is here in the USA now, why doesn't he just stay here? I don't know if this forum is the place for this but still if somebody can answer this for me I would really like to hear it.

I don't think the kids mother is Abreu's wife.

Guys ... Saladino is a big league baseball player. He can hit the ball. I'm convinced. Trade Lawrie ASAP and for gosh sakes play Saladino next year.

If we're starting Saladino, it should be at SS or 3B. He's not a 2B.

Should have put this one away....

That's not the Sox. They don't blow open many games. They win close games and lose both blowouts and close games. Rarely do they win a blowout game.

Is Saladino shaky at 2B because of some inherent flaw or b/c he doesn't have much experience there?

Its a different arm slot and throw at 2nd. Pivots and double play turns are different as well. Just because you play SS doesnt mean you automatically can play 2b.
