caulfield12
What did Abreu do (or not do) now? Does he still have negative overall statistical value with this recent "hot streak"?
caulfield12
Tim Anderson: Walk/OBP Machine Nice to see him trending back into the low 700's for OPS. 750 might be a realistic expectation if he can just up his walk total to 5% or so, hopefully 7.5% but that might be dreaming for now. caulfield12
Well, at least Eaton, Q and Sale give you three huge assets to choose from in making an offseason trade...

Q, Sale and Eaton are why I watch games honestly.

The Sir
Allen has allowed four or more runs in an outing three times in his career. Two of those were against us. Also, 29.1 IP with 16 ERs overall against us. Don't think we're a group he looks forward to.
fathom
QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 18, 2016 -> 02:32 AM) Oh Robertson. I missed the leadoff walk. Was it a full count fastball?

greg775
Glad to see Anderson draw another walk. As well as rip a home run. He's drawing walks once in a while now which is nice.

Jerksticks
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Aug 17, 2016 -> 09:47 PM) They've been trying that. Not trying. They're doing that. Look beyond the record the last two years. Trades junk for shark to get an extra first rounder. Traded junk for Frazier. Found out Saladino is a baller. Young pitching is developing nicely. Might have our new CFer in Tilson. Anderson is awesome. Young guys doing great in the minors- more legit prospects than ever. Meanwhile we've been competitive. I'm still behind the FO. We've got huge trade chips in Melky & Frazier next year. The Sox are looking good moving forward if they stay the course.
