2 things I will be looking for in this game: Continued offensive prowess from Abreu, Frazier and Avi, and for Rodon to get that ERA below 4.

Who is this team?

As always, Avi the Great is here to remind you.

Also, I love Morneau. I rarely think this about veteran midseason acquisitions, but I hope we keep him. Maybe a small sample size, but the guy is just clutch.

If Sale was on the mound, what are the odds Cano gets plunked in retaliation for Eaton and Abreu in the same inning?

Who is this team?

Looking more and more like the team we saw in April. As long as they don't play the AL Central, or the Rangers, they are fine. September might be hell for this team considering all the games against the central:

3 in Detroit (starting tomorrow)

4 in Minnesota (doesn't really count)

3 vs Detroit

3 vs Royals

4 vs Cleveland

4 vs Royals

2 at PHI

3 in Cleveland

4 vs TB

3 vs Minnesota

That's a lot of games vs KC, CLE, and DET

Carlos is one of the few reasons to be excited right now. He's building a pretty good 2nd half.

Sale, Q, Rodon, Gonzalez, IMO you build around that and not blow it up. 2 of them are potential CY candidates every year. You will need the luck of the Cubs in dealing them away for prospects. That is a high risk with this organization.
