Burdi had a bit of a rough night.

It was Burdi's first game back in Louisville. Might have been hyped and trying too hard as many of his former teammates and coaches were at the game.

Engel did homer.

He's pushed his batting average over. 240. It will be interesting to see if they add him to the 40-man.

You mean good raw stuff or were you just looking at the line? If his stuff has bounced back a bit it would be huge.

15 K's in 33.1 innings is pretty bad. He's not going to maintain anything close to that ERA without striking out more guys.

He's just 20 years old in AA. I'd give him some time.

Although, his wikipedia page says he's 118.

This. He's incredibly young for his age. People keep saying he won't have success at the next level, but he keeps pitching well at each after he adjusts. I dont ever expect him to be some staff ace, but their is tremendous value in Adams if he turns into a 4 or 5 someday.

I'm not writing him off by any means, but let's not get overly excited over a five start stretch in which he's striking out less than 4.5 batters per nine innings. Plain and simple, that isn't going to translate to the majors. Having said that, there's still plenty of time for his stuff to bounce back and get closer to 7-8 K's per nine innings.

I don't know, his age is 20 and he is 20. Seems a draw.
