Thanks for that post and you jinxed that there Verlander as Saladino doubles. Good job !

Hahah I deleted it as soon as that happened. Saladino is helping my "beat the streak" hitting streak as I picked him and Abreu for hits today haha.

His ability to play third and second along with Saladino's flexibility you keep both.

The White Sox don't have any depth to replace guys as we have seen this year and previous with crappy bench players.

This is true...Saladino has been about the only good depth piece that has served the Sox well.

Wow, back-to-back HR's. Guess Abreu hitting is contagious.

Great to see Abreu finally hitting now, esp. in a situation like this (against division rivals who know his weaknesses, good pitcher on the mound who is dominating the Sox, tie game). Would have liked it earlier, of course, but maybe getting this season back on track will allow him to get next year back on track as well. Maybe it's his son?

I think in Saladino, Tilson, and Narvaez, you've established that you have some decent backups for next year (well not so much Tilson, but he sounds like his skill set will play nicely as 4th OF). What you really need is a DH, CF, and C. I would personally go in pretty big on the first 2 and then bring back Avila at C.

How has Sale looked today?

He's given up a few hits, has had a few double plays turned behind him. Not cy-young caliber, but not bad either. Pretty good so far, no runs given up, that is, until the bullpen comes in to "relieve" him.

I don't think he has looked real sharp but everytime the Tigers get threat going he gets a GIDP. Three so far
