ChiliIrishHammock24
http://mlbfarm.com/index.php?team=CWS Matt Cooper in relief.... 3IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 6 K. His ERA at AA is 3.07 and he has 47 K to 12 BB and just 30 H in 41 IP. That's a K/BB of about 4, and a WHIP slightly over 1. Encouraging progress for a 16th RD pick a couple years ago. Call went 1/4. Lechich continues to have a great transition to becoming a pitcher. 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K. He's only pitched 14 innings since converting, but hasn't allowed any earned runs with 11 H, 2 BB and 16 K. Comito had a great start. 7 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 9 K. Booker went 1/5, SB. Roman - 2/4, 2 SB Schnurbusch - 0/1, RBI, 3 BB, SB Fisher - 1/3, BB, SB Great Falls in the playoffs now. ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (Donaldo @ Sep 3, 2016 -> 08:10 PM) Do they plan on using Cooper as a Starter or a Reliever? Good question, but no idea. Looking at his game log, it seems they may be attempting to limit his innings with his 2nd half bullpen stint, because he certainly wasn't failing as a starter. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (Donaldo @ Sep 3, 2016 -> 08:10 PM) Do they plan on using Cooper as a Starter or a Reliever? The Sox see him as a reliever. His PC in Winston-Salem said it. and so did a front office guy I talked with.
