Bob Sacamano
It's fine having him go over 100. I'm so glad a lot of people on here aren't the manager.
YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 5, 2016 -> 05:50 PM) Have him go around 100 pitches a game and not put unnecessary stress on the biggest asset in your franchise He was cruising virtually the entire game. Had he been struggling, it'd be different, but I have no problem with his pitch count today.
soxforlife05
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Sep 5, 2016 -> 04:52 PM) It's fine having him go over 100. I'm so glad a lot of people on here aren't the manager. You fry his elbow early in his career and you simultaneously have destroyed our chances of a quicker rebuild or trying to contend for the next 1-2 seasons. All to give him a bigger workload in meaningless games. Edited September 5, 2016 by soxforlife05
Insp
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 5, 2016 -> 05:26 PM) Ever since Avila stopped taking at least 2 strikes and became willing to hit it the other way he has been very good offensively. So what you're saying is that lack of plate discipline is a good thing at least with Avila?
Dick Allen
QUOTE (Insp @ Sep 5, 2016 -> 05:56 PM) So what you're saying is that lack of plate discipline is a good thing at least with Avila? Taking good pitches to hit is not good plate discipline. He is a huge swing ad miss guy. Giving himself one pitch to hit did not work.

Dick Allen
Sales usage was fine. Besides the White Sox have to play these games like they are in contention. If they were, people would have moaned if he was pulled.
Insp
Nate was doing great, so why not leave him in? What has Robertson done that would cause any reasonable person ti trust him in late innings? Edited September 5, 2016 by Insp

elrockinMT
Beck walks two batters after the DP and with two strikes gives up a homer to Upton and then walks a batter after that. This bullpen sucks
harkness99
Jason jinx benetti "They haven't scored since the 3rd inning" I said to me wife... here we go. Couple pitches later... blam. We got some serious hot garbage pitchers out of our minor leagues. They can't throw strikes and throw tasty breaking balls.
fathom
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 12:45 AM) Beck walks two batters after the DP and with two strikes gives up a homer to Upton and then walks a batter after that. This bullpen sucks Complete lack of depth in the minors killed the team this year. Dick Allen
The White Sox have too many pitchers who have a hard time throwing strikes. I guess that is what makes them minor leaguers.

greg775
My gosh our club stinks. Loss after loss in the Central. Robin, you are a very nice, classy man, but aren't you embarrassed by your team's laying down game after game vs. your neighbors?
