SoxAce
A good defensive 1B gets that short hop, but that is on Anderson there.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Good inning for the Sox to take the 3-2 lead. Saladino double , steals third .Then ANderson drives him in with a single, steals 2nd advances to third when the throw hit him and went into CF . Melky pop out but Abreu gets an infield hit to drive in Timmy . Abreu looks befuddled by Ventura's off speed pitches but managed to barely pull the low outside curve to dribble one up the 3rd base line that knocked in Anderson. CaliSoxFanViaSWside
2 more for the Sox . Eaton double. Melky single drives him in. Abreu singles through the hole into right. Morneau also singles to right driving in Melky. Frazier ends the inning with a GIDP. 5-2 Sox.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (Insp @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 06:58 PM) Typical: White Sox ahead, nobody's posting. Pretty much the same as every year the Sox are out of the playoff hunt. Might be fans rooting for losses to get a better draft pick than rooting for a win. I could never do that I enjoy every Sox win.
flavum
Rodon seems to have found his stride. Hope he can put up close to 200 innings next year.
Ducksnort
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 10:12 PM) Another solid performance from Carlos Rodon. I love Rodon's competitiveness. It is so good to see him finally the fruits of what he is capable of. Good pitchers take time to develop. Soon he will be able to get that 100 plus pitch count into the 8th, 9th innings. GreenSox
117 pitches in garbo time. Fantasy land. As a founding member of the Saladino fan club, he's turning into a solid player and is a better player than Lawrie, who should be moved this offseason Edited September 10, 2016 by GreenSox

Ducksnort
QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 10:39 PM) My biggest fear is Ventura being back next season. Ventura isn't the best manager but he isn't the worst. I mean, you really can't blame him for the team's performance this year.

RockRaines
QUOTE (Scoots @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 09:43 PM) Ventura isn't the best manager but he isn't the worst. I mean, you really can't blame him for the team's performance this year. He's neither good nor bad, he's lukewarm. And he's partially to blame for sure. They need to get rid of him.
