LittleHurt05
I didn't realize the Indians lost Carrasco and Salazar. And now they are going with a 3-man rotation. That's one team I'm not picking to win it all.
iamshack
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 6, 2016 -> 10:27 AM) I didn't realize the Indians lost Carrasco and Salazar. And now they are going with a 3-man rotation. That's one team I'm not picking to win it all. And Kluber is not exactly 100% either I don't think. I have a feeling about them though...they are incredibly well-balanced offensively and very tough to beat at home.

If Indians can win against Porcello in game 1 that will be huge. Francona vs his pupil. Should be a great series. Go Tribe

SCCWS
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 6, 2016 -> 04:01 PM) man f*** cleveland Sorry live in Red Sox country for most of the year. Tough as a White Sox fan to watch their success this decade. I will root for Cubs against Red Sox.
caulfield12
Really gutsy managing by Francona there using Miller for 40 pitches and at that point in the game. If they can cover the 8th, it will look brilliant. Quite the contrast with Britton not even getting off the bench
LittleHurt05
Terry Francona just blew Buck showalter's mind with that use of Andrew Miller
caulfield12
Indians have impressive depth, when you can go with your 5th/6th starter entering the season in Bauer and beat your opponent's best (although most would consider Price still is the ace). Losing Salazar and Carrasco is the White Sox equivalent of Quintana and Rodon being out. Edited October 7, 2016 by caulfield12
iamshack
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 6, 2016 -> 07:41 PM) Terry Francona just blew Buck showalter's mind with that use of Andrew Miller Banking on Kluber going deep into the game tomorrow. I suspect that's not something Robin would have had the stones to do either.
caulfield12
Allen is going to be lucky to survive the 9th with that elevated pitch count....so Kluber has to go long tmrw. Of course Price still has a very spotty post season record. Miller will likely be sidelined as well. BigHurt3515
Not sure if Allen even threw 5 strikes that inning.
caulfield12
Allen has a pretty nasty knuckle curve, same pitch that Robertson utilizes well when he's confident.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Man, I can't wait for Benintendi to be our starting CF next season. Just scares me of how much he is going to "hurt" our package we receive with him for Quintana. Over the summer, I was thinking Benintendi, Devers, Kopech, and someone else I think for Quintana. Now, just Benintendi and Kopech may be the price.
ChiliIrishHammock24
I'm rooting for Cleveland in this series. I want the Boston starters to get s*** on and force them to give in for whatever we demand of Sale/Q this offseason.

We'll see. 40 high stress pitches is a lot. I think you might see him against Ortiz in a key situation, but definitely not for more than 15-20 pitches.
