JUSTgottaBELIEVE
QUOTE (Green Line @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 09:38 PM) I feel like there is a 0% chance the Cubs go quitely in the 9th, and a good chance they walk it off. Hope im wrong but this game has that feeling to it. Wrong. Don't worry I was wrong too. I didn't like Jansen for a two inning save but he was lights out. JUSTgottaBELIEVE
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 09:57 PM) That might have been the worst strike call I have ever seen. Best of 5 series now, Dodgers had to win the Kershaw starts. Yep and the Cubs have to win the Lester starts because the rest of the games are near toss ups. SoxAce
Still can't believe Maddon still has Rizzo at the 3 spot, but keep putting him there.
JUSTgottaBELIEVE
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 09:59 PM) Still can't believe Maddon still has Rizzo at the 3 spot, but keep putting him there. He's been awful. Really aside from Bryant, Zobrist, and Baez the Cubs offense has not hit well this postseason. Their pitching has been better than last year though so that's overshadowed the offensive struggles. iWiN4PreP
Good for the Dodgers to win this one. If they can win game 3, things will really start to be troubling on the north side.

JUSTgottaBELIEVE
A potential Lester vs Kershaw Game 5 matchup in a 2-2 tied series would be really interesting.
thxfrthmmrs
With Kershaw only throwing 84 pitches tonight, you gotta think he's out there again for game 5 again.
chw42
QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 10:28 PM) With Kershaw only throwing 84 pitches tonight, you gotta think he's out there again for game 5 again. That is the only reason I'd see why Roberts pulled him so early. But even then, that's risky. Jansen is one hell of a closer, but pulling the best pitcher in baseball when he has at least one inning left in him is a ballsy move that can easily blow up in your face. He's already pitched on 3 days rest like 4 times in the playoffs inhis career , game 5 is his. At least we can end the Kershaw isn't clutch narrative, he has killed it so far. daa84
this is why that montero slam was so big. Game 1 was must win for the Cubs. Woulda been really nice to be 2-0 going back to Chavez ravine
ChiliIrishHammock24
Rizzo and Russell are a combined 2 for 39 (.051 avg). For their careers, Rizzo is a postseason .127 hitter, Russell is a .117 hitter. Both hit #3 and #5 respectively. pettie4sox
and is russel really suppose to be raking? The guy had a very pedestrian average in the regular season, why would he be on fire for the playoffs?
pettie4sox
If the Dodgers made a trade for Sale near the trade deadline. Wowzer

justBLAZE
My buddy Cubs fan told me Maddon won't change the order because he doesn't want to mess with Cubs' heads. As in mentally.
Bob Sacamano
If Dodgers take the first 2, no point of throwing Kershaw til game 6. Give him 5 days rest instead of 3. Cubs have struggled with the lefty starters this post season (Bumgarner wasn't awful, just one costly mistake to Arrieta who can hit) so let's go Rich Hill!
