White Sox Coaching Staff Changes

JR apparently doesn't accept his own failures anymore. His front office apparently enjoys spending 8+ years of failure attempting do the same thing over and over again. They refuse to admit the Robin hire was a terrible mistake nor take any responsibility for their own failures.

Same coaching staff= same half assed lazy approach, means no long term plan, means more mid market signings and trades. Get ready for another horrible season in 2017.

Seems like promoting two development guys to the coaching staff in Capra & Hasler signals we'll be rebuilding next year.

This might be the most intriguing post in the entire thread. Nice connection.

McEwing took over the 3b coach job with Robin's first staff in 2012 after a couple years of managing at Winston-Salem and Charlotte for the org. Thigpen was a minor league pitching coach before coming up to the big league level. Is there some obvious reason I'm missing as to why this is different? Promotion from within seems like the norm, not the exception with this management.

We're talking about the director of player development and the minor league pitching coordinator, two of the most important positions on the development side. I'd say that's pretty different than promoting a minor league manager or pitching coach.

Call me skeptical. I don't see why you would say that is obviously the reason for the choices rather than "next guy up".

That's interesting. I saw the coaching staff news last night drunk and was just pissed off because it seems like this organization is too complacent.

They really could give a f***. Guess what? So do I. I don't care about the White Sox anymore. Go ahead and suck ass for another year. I won't watch. f*** Jerry Reinsdorf.

I also have better things to do!

I don't. Or won't. If you're a fan, you're a fan.

I was there during the 1959 World Series against the Dodgers. This ownership group needs to step up this off season and prove they are competent to bring a competitive team to White Sox fans. I'm waiting.
