ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 10:12 PM) Alex actually has a future in broadcasting. He's very inquisitive, but was borderline interrogative at times. "No, that's not what I asked you. What time did you get to the park?". Yeesh. iamshack
QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 08:29 PM) He's very inquisitive, but was borderline interrogative at times. "No, that's not what I asked you. What time did you get to the park?". Yeesh. It's Pete Rose...you sort of have to do that with Pete. In fact, that's a mark of a good interviewer...you've got to reign people in and keep them on track. Pete was all over the place and Alex was keeping the discussion productive. Bob Sacamano
Yeah Pete has been all over the place this post-season and always sounds about ten beers deep.

Quin
A-Rod comes off as a natural broadcaster.
TheTruth05
QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Oct 22, 2016 -> 12:07 AM) No prob. Saw it on Reddit. Yea nice share. I agree that Arod is a natural in front of the camera, very easy on the ears and he's going to be a good analyst for a long time.
Panerista
Three really good things in this video. 1) As said multiple times, ARod is a potentially great broadcaster 2) It's a batting lesson from Pete Rose 3) Frank does a good job reiterating Rose's point, because Pete rambles a lot. Dynamite lineup, honestly.
greg775
Rose would be a good manager ... oh wait. I forgot. Love Big Hurt on TV. He is great announcer.
