I never thought I'd live to see the day when the Cubs were in the World Series.

Seriously I thought I'd be long gone.

Now I know how Cub fans felt in 2005, it's the "nuclear scenario."

Even if the Cubs lose the series, to a certain extent they've already won...they've buried the Sox deeper into irrelevancy.

It is what it is...nothing left to say but Go Indians!

I'm sitting here wondering how on Earth the Indians got home field advantage...

.. and then I finally remember the All Star Game rules.

Doesn't anyone think home field should belong to the team with the better record? Ah well, the Indians are gonna need all the help they can get. Plus, they probably had a much tougher schedule all year then the Cubs.

it's bad enough there wasn't a single Sox team in the playoffs while he was president, but now lots of idiots on the internet are arguing he's a Cubs' fan

ugh...it's like the Sox don't even exist, and then all the politicians like HRC and Emmanuel will be fighting to claim to be the biggest fans too

all that's missing is the obligatory Steve Perry, John Cusack, Eddie Vedder and Bill Murray appearances

go Indians!...68 years and counting

Cubs have a much better roster. I didn't watch any of the AL playoff games for some reason so I have no idea if Cleveland has been playing great baseball like the Royals did last year.

I just don't see any weaknesses on the Cubs team. You know maybe if Schwarber actually gets activated that will screw up their chemistry or something. Other than that I think the Cubs will win it in five.

They'll split in Cleveland and Cubs will win 3 in a row in Wrigley. I wonder why baseball goes 2-3-2 instead of 2-2-1-1-1

I guess homefield could matter. It is important. Cleveland's only hope IMO is if their fans really do throw the Cubs off and Cleveland wins the first two then takes one in Wrigley to go up 3-2 heading into the final two in Cleveland. If the series opens 1-1 or 2-0 Cubs, forget it.

Cubs starting pitching is pretty damn good. I can't believe many thought a team with 1 starter, Kershaw, would beat the Cubs. Rich Hill? Please he'd have gotten lit up Sunday.

Do Cubs go Arrieta-Lester, or Arrieta-Lackey-Lester?

Current Indians' roster vs. Lackey

.717 ops in 176 at bats

Rajai Davis and Marlon Bryd (not sure why he's showing up on this screen) have been the only two to do much damage

Salazar and Bauer are both expected to throw in a simulated game Sunday to determine their status

GO CUBS GO GO CUBS GO HEY CHICAGO WHATAYA SAY THE CUBS ARE GONNA WIN TODAY

I'm still completely wasted from last night. Chicago was a complete s***show. So fun though

Hmmm...these threads are going to get nastier (see Deadpool) before the next ten days are over. The Cubs' idiotic theme song probably won't help matters much.
