southsider2k5
Press release Eaton joins Betts, Springer as AL RF finalists Adam Eaton has been named a finalist for the Rawlings Gold Glove® Award. The 27-year-old leadoff hitter led all major-league outfielders in 2016 with 18 assists, the most by a White Sox outfielder since Jim Rivera's 22 in 1955. Eaton, 27, joined by Boston's Mookie Betts and Houston's George Springer as finalists for the award among American League right fielders, is attempting to become the first White Sox player to win the award since pitcher Jake Peavy in 2012. Gold Glove® winners will be announced on November 8.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 27, 2016 -> 02:23 PM) Nope. That used to be the case but not anymore. I see. Then why announce it as 3 LF/CF/RF and only put out press releases of the 3 at each position competing against each other? Why not just announce it as 9 outfielders? chw42
Eh Mookie had the stats to back him up. It just sucks that they can only select one winner for RF.
