elrockinMT
I took this off a cbs sports report on the Brewers. In the minors he showed some power and speed stealing 66 bases one year. Nothing wrong about picking up a guy with some talent and letting him play in the minors Brewers' Rymer Liriano: Remains without return timetable by RotoWire Staff May 22, 2016 • 1 min read Liriano (face) remains without a timetable to resume baseball activities, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Liriano continues to recover from facial injuries suffered when he was struck by a pitch in the face during spring training, and still has a way to go in the process. The Brewers will continue being cautious with Liriano, and GM David Stearns indicated there's a chance he could miss the entire season. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 02:03 PM) Same thought. Could have sworn it was sooner then that. Maybe he was top 100 by another publication more recently, but he went from 2nd best prospect in the Padres' system in 2011 to 8th best in 2012 and never really regained his top prospect status thereafter. GreenSox
Good move. The 40 man has been littered with a lot worse than him over the last few years. One of these claims will pay off. Lord knows they're due.
caulfield12
Might as well be DeAngelo Jimenez II. Once upon a time, there was a reasonable level of confidence that some of these under the radar moves would work out, especially on the pitching side. Now they're all pretty much universally mocked.
