aboz56
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1619231 I wouldn't mind seeing him as a backup on the Sox next season, if he wanted to play here. I think he could still be an adequate backup if healthy. Any thoughts?
DBAHO
Only if Tony G ain't back next season. There's no point in signing an old guy who's gonna take up valuable playing time for a youngster e.g Miles, Harris etc.
Harry Chappas
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1619231 I wouldn't mind seeing him as a backup on the Sox next season, if he wanted to play here. SuperSteve
I think leadership would be his best quality. He's 38 years old. He isn't near the player he used to be. He has been hurt alot recently. I would try to get him if the price is right, but no way on Earth I'd overpay.
southsider2k5
If he has some guts, and can get some guys to wake up and play, I don't care who they bring in here...
Chisoxrd5
Personally I think Barry Larkin wouldnt bring much to help the sox unless we were to go with an extremely YOUTHFUL team. Then we would need to sprinkle in a veteran here and there to nurture and care for them (lol). And if we resign Robbie there really isnt a need for a Barry Larkin on this team...just my opinion
Rex Hudler
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1619231 I wouldn't mind seeing him as a backup on the Sox next season, if he wanted to play here. I think he could still be an adequate backup if healthy. Any thoughts? I'd have no problem with Barry as a backup, but the problem is what do you do with Tony G. and who is the starter? Can't have both Graffy and Larkin backing up Valentin.
Dick Allen
Larkin would get hurt during batting practice. He turned down 500,000 from the Reds. I wouldn't give him 500,000. He is done.
MurcieOne
I lean twoards no.....lets not be the Blackhawks, sign everyone 5 years after their prime has passed. I would say Try and lure Miguel Tejada... but that aint gonna happen.
JoshPR
I think Barry has been Finished for a couple of years now. He may be a leader but he could be a cancer too. Barry has been a good player but If it was up to me I would pass
whitesoxfan99
I don't really want Larkin. Hes washed up and I'm not sure he would take to coming off the bench.
witesoxfan
He said in an interview that he was going to start somewhere next year. Who the hell is going to sign him to start for them at SS?

Agreed...too much money, especially when you already got Tony G.
