Offensively he should never face a lefty and the only thing he brings against righties is above average power...for a catcher. Glad we aren't in the buying market for guys like this. He has been healthy 1 WAR with higher ceiling catcher that can catch you 110 games and is fine defensively and an excellent framer. Navarro made 4 million, is a worse hitter than Castro and worse defensively. I mean, when you look around at what utility players sign for, a starting catcher signing for 8 mill is pretty reasonable.
