greg775
Lot of talk about Puig. Why do we want to trade Abreu so bad and deal FOR Puig? I thought we only wanted minor league prospects in rebuilding. Puig is 25 and a big leaguer. Abreu is only 29. Why not keep them both? Southwest Sider
I think Sale either gets shipped for Bregman +, or a pretty damn good package of prospects from AA or under from some team.
Chicago White Sox
I'm sticking with my original prediction of Sale getting traded to the Astros. Their team president recently came out and pretty much said the last thing on their off-season to do list is adding an ace. A trade just makes too much sense for both organizations. Dick Allen
QUOTE (South Sider @ Dec 5, 2016 -> 12:00 AM) I think Sale either gets shipped for Bregman +, or a pretty damn good package of prospects from AA or under from some team. Olmec just tweeted there is no chance Houston trades Bregman.

knightni
If you're rebuilding, you don't want to add a potential negative volatility to your roster like Puig.

Caulfield bro, you are the only one who would buy tickets to see Puig and unfortunately for us you live in Asia.
GGajewski18
What is wrong with a possible change of scenery for Puig? Rebuild his value and trade him. Rather see Puig in the OF than Coats or Avi.
knightni
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 5, 2016 -> 08:55 AM) What is wrong with a possible change of scenery for Puig? Rebuild his value and trade him. Rather see Puig in the OF than Coats or Avi. The Sox are not the right place if you're looking for a positive change of scenery - the franchise has really poor luck in helping anyone's career. Puig is a lazy f*** up that was handed his job from Cuba due to pure talent and constantly had it pulled away from him because he can't act like a professional. CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (Baron @ Dec 3, 2016 -> 10:19 AM) I'm going to go with nothing. Me too. This. Said from the beginning the Sox M.O., when we all surely thought they would make moves, is to make outrageous demands or offers and let the market pass them by.
