South Side Fireworks Man
I'd like Frazier and Judge.
knightni
Judge is like Gallo. Very undisciplined and a poor batting eye.
Con te Giolito
I'd like Frazier and Judge. Those are a pair of big strong oxen to put in the corners. Grab a couple guys from the low end of the Yankees T30 on top of that and I'm all in. Judge offers intriguing buy-low appeal, as does Mateo. I wouldn't go as far as Gallo but yea, there's a reason Judge's stock has fallen. He's an absolute monster of man though, 6'7" 275.
Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (Con te Giolito @ Dec 19, 2016 -> 12:56 PM) Those are a pair of big strong oxen to put in the corners. Grab a couple guys from the low end of the Yankees T30 on top of that and I'm all in. Judge offers intriguing buy-low appeal, as does Mateo. You're talking about him in a deal for Q. I wouldn't consider that as a "buy-low."
SoxAce
QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 19, 2016 -> 12:55 PM) Judge is like Gallo. Very undisciplined and a poor batting eye. I'm not sure if that's more insulting to Gallo or Judge. Not seeing the comparison there.
Quin
MLB Network: "Quintana isn't an ace, he's a solid #2." I swear Quintana could be an All-Star for the next three years, win a Cy Young and 20 games and people would still go "Well, he's good but..." ChiSoxFanMike
From Andrew Marchand of ESPN: Yankees GM Brian Cashman has repeatedly said he is pessimistic about adding another quality starter this winter. That, of course, won't cool down the Hot Stove with the latest re-linking the Yankees to the White Sox Jose Quintana. Cashman touches base for nearly every available player; especially when it is need base. However, the White Sox want a boatload of prospects. The Yankees have been disinclined to trade any of them so, unless that changes, it seems unlikely Quintana will end up in the Bronx.
bmags
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Dec 19, 2016 -> 01:01 PM) From Andrew Marchand of ESPN: Well, Morosi's was at least a source, the above is just analysis and punditry.

Dam8610
Deal starts with Torres for the Yankees. Torres, Frazier, Sheffield, Andujar certainly moves the needle more than what the Astros have offered to date.
Con te Giolito
I feel like this was just a leak to get the Astros to do something. Is Morosi one of the usual suspects for these types of things from the Sox? I feel like Nightengale is their go-to guy for those kinds of tactics. Yes, 4 top 100 including 2 top 50 is an insane package. Per the bmags soxtalk-value-to-actual value formula, you take out the 2nd and 4th best player in that package and you are a lot closer to a trade. steveno89
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 19, 2016 -> 01:24 PM) The Morosi report seems like a White Sox leak. Perhaps, I don't see the Yankees offering up what it would take. The Chapman signing to big money is interesting though, because it suggests the front office is not keen to wait multiple years for a rebuild. Trading for Quintana would accelerate the process, but would cost many of their top prospects
bmags
Regardless, Soxtalk should send Morosi a fruit basket for the tweet. We were starting to talk about Ryan Howard for goodness sake.

Sale netted #1 and #30, so 2 top 50 isn't out of the question, Q is nearly as good as Sale if hype is ignored and production analyzed. So, fine, how about Torres, Frazier, Andujar, Montgomery?
