While we are waiting for more rebuilding and there are countless Best of and Top 2016 .... lists out I figured this might be fun.

Give your favorites at each position for your White Sox Fandom as well as the years you can remember (start at a young age you actually remember).

This link lists all White Sox players if you need help remembering. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/cws/history/players.jsp

Is it wrong that, despite knowing Sale is better, that Buehrle is my favorite pitcher of all time? (Only 25 years old so didn't see McDowell or others mentioned) Basically started getting into baseball around 99/2000 so I basically started from the beginning with Buehrle's career (and Paulie's for that matter).

Not wrong. Buehrle gets credit for longevity, perfecto, no hitter, and for being a great teammate. And postseason heroics.

I don't think favorite has anything to do with how good they were (are)?

Watching Ron Leflore run around and get hit on the head with a fly ball was entertaining. He was by no means the best OF or even in the team picture.

C Brooks Fordyce- met him in Minneapolis, one of the most decent guys ever

1B Dick Allen. Duh

2B Jorge Orta. He could hit

SS Ozzie. Couldn't stand him asa manager when he got the big head, but before he hurt his knee he was fun to watch.

3B the Boy wonder Robin, although Beltin Melton is close

LF Steve Kemp was a White Sox for 1 season, but I loved how he hit.

CF Chet Lemon. Another really great guy who was fun to watch

RF Maggs I named my first dog after him

DH The Big Hurt

SP Buehrle was at his no hitter and as Farmio said, he pitched like his car was double parked on 35th street.

MR Keith Foulke he was in the now Andrew Miller role before he became a full time closer

Closer Shingo. Loved the gong and the frisbee. Honorable mention to Bobby Jenks and his epic battle with Bagwell in the WS. Just threw gas. Dick measuiring time and he won.
