FlaSoxxJim
Congratulations 20-game winner Estebam Loaiza!!!
Flash Tizzle
Schoenweiss points to Este after the strikeout. Wins ugly, but a win nevertheless. I believe he has 200 strikeouts too.......
Flash Tizzle
More importantly the Yanks will get b****ed out by Steinburnner and the sox take the season series from the Yanks 4-6........YES.
Flash Tizzle
GREAT MOMENT. Players shower Este with beer in his post game interview. Good to see the team backing up their main guy today. Check that, its probably coke. I hope nobody has quoted me yet.
southsider2k5
It is so sad, we beat the Yankees 4 out of 6, but we can only beat the Tigers 11 of 19. If there is a story line to the season, there it is.
elrockinMT
I watched the game on WGN. I didn't think Esteban won ugly he did a good job. The 2nd inning and giving up 2 homers was his only bad moment. The first homer started out looking like a flyout to left but kept carrying. I was as excited in the 6th to see the Sox get a whole bunch of hits as much as Jose's three run jack. They looked good and believe it or not Willie Harris actually swung the bat half way decently. It was great seeing Loaiza get #20.
Flash Tizzle
I didnt mean winning ugly by the way he pitched, I was referring to the way this team put up a huge 8 spot to give him the lead. Much like the game in Clev. where the team rallied to give him the win late in the game. It probably would of been his final inning of work because of his pitch count (101). So regardless of the result he wouldnt of came out in the 7th. Even though I might of sounded like I wasnt given him credit, Este pitched a hell of a game. And with the Kc loss to detroit tonight, the sox have took hold of second place. Ending the season ahead of KC has to be their main goal in the upcoming series.
