caulfield12
James Jay Carafano, a Heritage Foundation analyst who worked on Trump's transition team believes that seeking deep foreign policy truths in the President's tweets and comments is a mistake. "That public persona is not strategic signaling. That is just Trump being Trump. Pretty soon, people are going to look for other things when they look at what is true strategic signaling," Carafano said. "Trump means exactly what he says, you just have to figure out exactly what he means," Carafano said. http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/06/politics/tru...ging/index.html
Dick Allen
Kanye is dumping Trump. He cleaned his twitter of all his pro-Trump tweets. Too bad, they seem to be made for each other. Maybe they can make up.
StrangeSox
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 6, 2017 -> 01:45 PM) Any poll negative towards Trump is fake news per the Donald. lol Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Any negative polls are fake news, just like the CNN, ABC, NBC polls in the election. Sorry, people want border security and extreme vetting. 6:01 AM - 6 Feb 2017 I find the whole effort by Trump and Trumpists to spin away "fake news" pretty interesting. The whole thing behind the "fake news" discussion was that there were unquestionably people deliberately and knowingly making things up because they'd get clicks and shares on facebook etc. They weren't even necessarily people trying to push a particular narrative with the fabricated stories but more likely some Macedonia teenagers looking to make some easy money. But Trump/Trumpists seem to be proud of their consumption of deliberately fake news, like there's a knee-jerk reaction to immediately go 100% for whatever 'liberals' are criticizing. caulfield12
http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/06/politics/9th...-ban/index.html Now CNN podcasts (embedded in the story) are providing warnings that some may consider "the Daily DC" to be fake news. Surreal. So, by definition, Fox and Breitbart should have "real news" stamps on their stories??? And still trying to imagine the firestorm had Obama made those same comments about Russia and the US each having "lots of killers." It would be the American flag lapel fake patriotism story all over again. Edited February 7, 2017 by caulfield12

It's such a stupid thing to lie about and really makes them come off as insane, but there are probably now lots of people in this country that believe there was a Bowling Green Massacre and refugees did it and the media just didn't report it. RockRaines
Man that article in the Trib about the tiny town in Wisconsin is so sad. It shows how much marketing and slogans can drive votes. It shows how much marketing and slogans can drive votes. They are quite literally even more f***ed the next four years. I think it also shows the desperation of some people in this country. None of the people interviewed in the article really seem to even like Trump that much. These aren't the MAGA people running around foaming at the mouth for Trump. The people in the article they interviewed just have nothing left to lose. Broke, unpayable debt, sick, no jobs, no future. What do they care if the country goes to s***. They already live it. caulfield12
DeVos gets in, might as well cancel the rest of the hearings as they're pointless. Next Sessions will get in, so the only one able to stop Trump will be the courts. But probably still get 30 hours for him, Price and Mnuchin. Trump promising to fight refugee ban to Supreme Court. Sigh.

StrangeSox
DeVos has got to be the most plainly unqualified Cabinet member ever, right?
