StrangeSox
Imagine this alternate universe: President Hillary Clinton quietly sent her son-in-law, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, to Iraq on Monday, adding “winning the war against ISIS” to his growing list of responsibilities, which also include “solving Middle East peace,” “heading the new White House Office of American Innovation,” “managing the U.S.-China summit,” and “ending the opioid crisis.” The Chinese government, convinced of Mezvinsky’s importance in the Clinton White House, not only has established a “back channel” to him through its ambassador in Washington, it has also quietly encouraged a Chinese state bank to invest in his troubled hedge fund. While Clinton’s husband has largely stayed out of the White House and remained at home in New York, her daughter Chelsea has also taken a unpaid role in the administration while continuing to run the family foundation and earning five- and six-figure fees giving speeches to corporations with interests in Washington. Meanwhile, most top sub-Cabinet level positions are still unfilled, though in one piece of unexpected news, longtime Clinton confidante and political adviser Sidney Blumenthal has been removed from his brief stint as a member of the National Security Council. https://civichall.org/civicist/imagine-the-alternatives/
Dick Allen
So jobs planned 2 years before he took office....credit Trump. Citizens get gassed 2 1/2 months into his presidency, 6 days after it was announced the Trump administration would not hold Assad responsible for the atrocities done to his citizens, and a few years after Trump said the "foolish" Obama should stay the hell out of Syria..blame Obama

chw42
Steve Bannon Calls Jared Kushner a ‘Cuck’ and ‘Globalist’ Behind His Back Good to see Bannon saying s*** the people who read his website says. Also, in conspiracy theory circles (which I think Breitbart is now a part of), the term Globalist is another word for Jews. Good to see Steve Bannon totally isn't an anti-Semite. greg775
Hey, I'm not trolling or trying to anger anybody, really not. Just bear with me and answer please. I told you I don't follow politics that closely after election season. But today I was driving and turned on Rush and after lunch Hannity on the radio. Rush said and I am serious: Something to the effect of Trump's 100 days have been a tremendous success in ALL aspects and if this was a Democratic regime we'd be hearing GLOWING reports. He said the national media despises Trump and it's all negative. He says Trump doesn't care, he just listens to those like Rush and Hannity who support him. But my comment to you is: Are they at least a bit correct?? Has Trump been OK to good? Now I am assuming you trust my report that Hannity and Rush did indeed say these things today. About how TRUMP is actually good. You know I don't lie on purpose, so give me your take on two national talk show hosts assessing Trump's opening 100 days as good. p.s.: I also last night watched some press sessions with Spicer on youtube. I will tell you they are like comedy skits. The male media members dressed in suit and tie and the women media members in equally formal attire, toss negative questions at him and he gets all mad and blasts them. To you I ask, why the hell do they have these media briefings with Spicer?? First of all, he's not the president. Who gives a flip what he thinks about issues? Do they actually quote him every day? I mean if you can't get the Pres' take, you have no take IMO. Why quote a guy like a press secretary? That'd be like Coach K's third assistant giving all the comments to the press before and after games. Very weird. (I do realize in some cases he brings a direct message from the president but wouldn't a simple press release with Trump's quotes be more effective than some guy explaining what he thinks Trump thinks?) Apologies in advance if you don't like this post or think I'm trying to stir it up. GO SOX! 1-1 isn't half bad. RockRaines
Greg Rush and Hannity. There is your answer. Rush is further right than anyone on this board and Hannity is Trumps mouthpiece. He could take a s*** on the desk in the Oval Office and call it a success. If you assess him by what he ran on as his platform he's been a tremendous failure. Didnt defeat isis, no healthcare repeal, no wall, no Muslim ban, Hillary isn't in jail, he's failed to nominate 80 percent of his staff, the stock market plummets and so does his approval rating. You think that's good? Using his own definition of success he's a failure. Or a liar. Or incompetent. Edited April 7, 2017 by RockRaines

Reddy
QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 7, 2017 -> 01:18 AM) Is there any figure out on casualties? I'm assuming there are casulaties. Interesting turn in the Trump-Russia leftist conspiracy theory. So Russia meddled and hacked the US election so Trump could serve their interests by bombing their ally? Am I getting that right? It's hard to keep up. we'll see how it plays out. This could be Trump trying to kill the Russia issue. Saw an opportunity, took it, now people like you will be saying things like you just said. Makes sense.
chw42
QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 7, 2017 -> 01:03 AM) I'm sure Trump decided to bomb Syria to dispel a liberal talking point. I'm sure it had nothing to do with sarin gas that was released. You have to let it go with the conspiracy stuff. You know what's funny? Trump supporters were saying the chemical attack was a conspiracy. So which one is it?

Chicago White Sox
As someone who is incredibly anti-Trump, I think Donald deserves some credit for this response. I also love that so many anti-Hillary people thought she'd be a war mongerer who would start a war with Russia. Yet here we are, 3 months in, and that's what we're heading for. Liberal conspiracy theory time: US and Russia both escalate this conflict, Putin and Trump pretend to talk it out, US drops sanctions on Russia in exchange for our ability to take out Assad. Trump and Putin look great while giving Exxon the ability to drill in Antarctica.
RockRaines
Hillary definitely would have wanted to bomb Syria. And congress would have opposed it and Trump would have had a twitter field day. Shoe is on the other foot now.

StrangeSox
Hillary would have been doing the same thing, unfortunately, but with a clearer and more coherent stance rather than the Trump administration's flailing for 24-48 hours. I'm not sure if Russia allowing Assad to be taken out would be in their best long-term interest, though. Would really damage their credibility with other states they're propping up. Are TWEETS! the new E-MAILS! That there's a perfect Trump tweet for essentially every situation pointing out him having said the exact opposite is more entertaining than anything, though I do think the "Obama is going to bomb Syria to boost his low ratings" tweet is basically what's happening here. As the initial reaction shows, Americans sure do love going all Team America:World Police and blowing s*** up.
