Is Mexico going to pay for it? Keep moving the goal posts.

LOL, it has to me moved because its either not going to happen or we are all going to be paying for it. Half of those idiots also believe that we get almost nothing from Mexico that we cant get get here. Except for a HUGE percentage of things like fruits and vegetables. But other than that....

Half of those idiots also believe that we get almost nothing from Mexico that we cant get get here. Except for a HUGE percentage of things like fruits and vegetables. But other than that....

The biggest import is cars, with the U.S. spending $74 billion in 2015 for the hundreds of thousands of Chevrolet and Ram trucks, as well as Volkswagens, Fords, Hondas, Nissans and other brands that are assembled in Mexican factories.

But cars are far from the only product that U.S. importers bring in from Mexico. Other key categories include machinery, medical instruments, and mineral fuels. The country is also the U.S.' second-biggest provider of agricultural products, with imports amounting to $21 billion in 2015.

"It is very troubling for world food and agricultural markets for Administration spokespersons to bandy about terms like a 20% tax on all imports from Mexico or other countries,'' Tom Stenzel, President and CEO of the United Fresh Produce Association said in a statement. "Consider the impact on American consumers of a 20% hike in the cost of foods such as bananas, mangoes and other products that we simply cannot grow in the United States. Consider also what other countries would do to block U.S. exports in retaliation. As the Administration looks to incentivize manufacturing jobs in the U.S., we urge President Trump to consider the unique nature of food and not place a new food tax on American consumers."

Fresh vegetables purchased from Mexico totaled $4.8 billion in 2015, according to the office of the Trade Representative. Snack food imports totaled $1.7 billion, while wine and beer $2.7 billion and processed fruit and vegetables peaked at $1.4 billion two years ago

Representative Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, said in a statement that a tariff would not only "disrupt Texas commerce with our most important trading partner, but it would raise consumer prices by 20% on many goods, like so much of the fresh produce upon which we rely at this time of year.''

It's embarrassing to me that we seem to want to put billions of dollars into things like a wall or fighting ISIS when they arent nearly big issues facing Americans. Allocated those billions for cancer research and maybe actually make a difference on the world and your own citizens. Spending that amount of money to wall out your partner or fight the tiniest threat of terrorism is so f***ing stupid I cannot comprehend it. ISIS is about the 1,000th threat on someone daily at best.

Imagine living in Flint, MI and hearing Paul Ryan say we are going to spend 14 billion dollars to build some stupid f***ing wall or how we have to spend billions more on military.

They can't even get clean water.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

How can any Trump supporter claim they care about Americans and what's best for our country when they ignore an entire city that's been drinking poison water for over a year!?!?! Yeah let's spend our money on a useless wall instead. It's what Jesus would have wanted. He totally hated his neighboring countries.

You think the upcharge by restaurants on guacamole is high now....

My house runs on bananas and Avocados.....

The working class should be PISSED, but instead they somehow think an unprotected wall is going to get them jobs in the old mill. If anyone was smart you'd open a ladder store on the other side.

Because their response is that Flint elected a democrat so they are getting what they deserve.

It is all distraction, they want us to focus on this sham. We need to ignore it, there was no mass voter fraud

How can you say you know something without researching it? Thats a hypothesis. I keep thinking people cant be this stupid.

How long was Obama President when this was going on and how long has Trump been President with this going on?

I also blame Obama as well. Doesn't mean Trump should ignore it.

It's really not Trump or Obama here anyway. This is Congress, nearly 100%. They can find the money for a wall that locals don't even want to fix a problem that barely exists, but they can't find a small fraction of that for emergency aid from Sandy, or fixing a broken water system. It's priorities for spending, and Congress controls that ultimately.

Congress is more interested in literally anything else but this.

Not a single post was moved, but keep believing that it was. Will Mexico pay for it? Right now Trump has been keeping his campaign promises so I have no reason to believe otherwise.

Lol, Mexico will never pay for that "f***ing wall".

Peña Nieto is under enormous pressure to not cede one bit, if he bends to Trump's will, he most likely get's replaced, if he "beats Trump", then he will see a huge rise to his popularity, which is very low atm. The Mexican people dislike Trump a lot more than EPN, after all he has branded them as rapists and murderers. A large segment of the population actually wants out of NAFTA so they'd rather lose NAFTA than pay for Trump's Wall.

If Trump wants a trade tariffs war, they are more than ready for it.

There's actually been some talk on Mexican political shows of courting China to sign a military alliance, just in case...that would be taking it way too far though and who knows if China would be so in your face to the US, but you never know. Trump has been sabre rattling and the Chinese have responded in kind...

Duh, unfortunately there is a huge population of people that believe anything Trump says even if the money is being directly taken out of their pockets.

That's quite interesting for sure.

#fakenews

UPDATE: Handgate ends. As The Verge and the Washington Post report, the photo ABC broadcast wasn’t the one hung on the White House wall but an inserted still of the Getty image. Further, that still doesn’t have the same warp effect as the one Schwartz initially tweeted. Schwartz has also deleted some of her tweets.

Blumpf redeemed.

Flint needs to get taken care of ASAP. You'll be happy to know there's a movement backed by 300k Trump supporters pressuring him to send 221,000,000 dollars to Flint.

Is 300k supposed to be an impressive number?
