Why, it's not like anything would happen to him.

Couple of Republicans would come out and say how disappointed they were and then go and do nothing.

And from his supporters: "Video is fake, has been doctored. Maga!"

Moronghazi update: nuclear holocaust edition

The context of tillerson calling Trump a moron was a lengthy, frustrating meeting with Trump, senior administration officials and top Pentagon brass. In this meeting, Trump declared he wanted a ten-fold increase in our nuclear arsenal.

Lol @ anyone who was foolish enough to vote for this moron. Destroying American hegemony in less than a year.

Dear f***

Cool, we're going to give Puerto Rico another loan they can't afford and then bail, leaving the entire island to collapse in on itself.

Trump warns Puerto Rico: ‘We cannot keep FEMA, the Military & the First Responders . . . forever!’

President Trump served notice Thursday that he may pull back federal relief workers from Puerto Rico, effectively threatening to abandon the U.S. territory amid a staggering humanitarian crisis in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

Declaring the U.S. territory's electrical grid and infrastructure to have been a “disaster before hurricanes,” Trump wrote Thursday that it will be up to Congress how much federal money to appropriate to the island for its recovery efforts and that recovery workers will not stay “forever.”

In a trio of tweets, Trump wrote” “We cannot keep FEMA, the Military & the First Responders, who have been amazing (under the most difficult circumstances) in P.R. forever!”

Three weeks since Maria made landfall, much of Puerto Rico, an island of 3.4 million people, the vast majority of the island remains without power. Residents struggle to find clean water, hospitals are running short on medicine and commerce is slow with many businesses closed.

He's a very dumb man.

"The country -- we took it over and owed over 20 trillion. As you know the last eight years, they borrowed more than it did in the whole history of our country. So they borrowed more than $10 trillion, right? And yet, we picked up 5.2 trillion just in the stock market," Trump said during an interview on Fox News.

"Possibly picked up the whole thing in terms of the first nine months, in terms of value. So you could say, in one sense, we're really increasing values. And maybe in a sense, we're reducing debt. But we're very honored by it."

He added he is "very, very happy with what's happening on Wall Street."

Trump appeared to be suggesting that stock market gains would lead to a reduction in the country's national debt.

Its kind of shocking he doesnt know how the economy works

I don't think any level of Trump naivety is shocking. During the campaign, and for years, he was ripping Obamacare. He had no idea what it was. He said his employees didn't like it. They weren't on it. He doesn't seem to know the difference between health insurance and life insurance. What's shocking is someone like this can become POTUS, and fancy himself, and have millions believe he is a man of the people. He's for the little guy. He has screwed over the little guy time and time again during his "genius" business career. He profited stiffing people. He calls himself smart for not paying taxes. He says it was a smart great business deal when he uses laws not to pay small businesses and put them out of business. As long as he profits, it doesn't matter.

And all those people in Alabama think it's great. They won't when they wake up one day and realize they are the ones that were had. But, hey, emails.

Trump warns Puerto Rico: ‘We cannot keep FEMA, the Military & the First Responders . . . forever!’

In a visit to the island last week, Vice President Mike Pence vowed that the administration will be with Puerto Rico "every step of the way."

"I say to all of you gathered here today to the people of Puerto Rico: We are with you, we stand with you, and we will be with you every single day until Puerto Rico is restored bigger and better than ever before," he said.

Trump himself made a similar promise, saying in a Sept. 29 speech, "We will not rest, however, until the people of Puerto Rico are safe." He added, "These are great people. We want them to be safe and sound and secure. And we will be there every day until that happens."

Why does this country waste money sending these guys over there if all they are going to do is lie?

@markknoller

Finishing remarks, Pres Trump almost leaves the room without signing the Executive Order. @VP reminds him. Not the first time it's happened.

Can't wait to die in a nuclear war started by the moron reality tv guy who is probably suffering from a brain disease.

I wrote in Bernie, I didn't vote for Trump. Not everyone here in Alabama is a moron. Most, but not all.

Birds of a feather:

In 2004, in a discussion with The New York Times about the success of his show “The Apprentice,” Trump said:

“Harvey Weinstein calls ― he’s a friend of mine; you know, he’s the head of Miramax ― and he says, ‘Donald, you know you’re the biggest star in Hollywood.’”

And when you're a star......
