Some interesting bits in there for sure. Glad to see they don't want him to start next year.

The guaranteed 1 year deal for Glennon should have been the tip off that they planned to have someone else in a year.

So he could have faked his death and now come out of hiding and re-sign with the Patriots?

The interesting thing is that it could lead to the family challenging his release and the clawback on his signing bonus because no conviction.

Yesterday the Bears terminated the contracts of WR Eddie Royal, waived DL Will Sutton, FB Paul Lasike, and OL Cornelius Edison

I always liked Sutton, he played hard, He just was not in a good defense for his skill set. I think he will do fine in a 4-3

He got it back.

In other news, 2 AFC scouts told Moon Mullin, Trubisky was their highest graded QB in 6 drafts. Higher than Luck , Winston, Marriota, Newton.Wentz....

2 AFC scouts? Are we talking Patriots and Steelers or Browns and Jaguars? Thats a very vital piece of information

Probably not the Browns since, you know, they passed on him

Could have easily been the Browns, but they felt that Garrett was the better prospect. They may have also felt that Trubisky would fall, like many felt he could. I read a lot of things talking about how the Browns were looking to move back into the top 10, probably to take Trubisky.

That would be extremely unlikely. Highest QB grade in the last 6 drafts would mean higher than Andrew Luck and not many people would have passed on Luck for Myles Garrett.

That being said it is possible they misread the draft and thought they could get Trubisky later, but still not a good move if they really thought he was the best QB in the last 6 drafts. That is basically a generational talent QB.

It is unlikely, but as cliche as it is, they are still the Browns. On the flip side, they do have a different type of front office than really anyone in the NFL right now. They may have viewed the market for Trubisky as being picked anywhere from 5-10 and they definitely had the resources to move back to get him without spending too much while Garrett wouldn't have lasted past 2, so they could have simply misread the situation. Either way, I wouldn't trust the Browns evaluation of Trubisky anyways.
