I develop a rash whenever I read your posts...not because of the content, but because of the lack of punctuation.

Jiminez, Happ, Candelerio, and a flyer is kind of the ideal trade for the Sox rebuild. Three top 100 hitting prospects (including two in the top 30) really helps with the rebuild.

 

Makes sense from the Cubs side as well since Happ and Candelerio look blocked for the foreseeable future. If Almora hits for them this year, then Jimenez is as well.

I'd hate to see Q on the Cubs, but that would be a pretty darn good trade.

 

I wonder if Candelario for Robertson is a possibility this summer. A guy just outside the top 100 (Sickels has Candelario at #200) feels fair for Robertson, if he's healthy and effective.

There are many other posters that do or dont do things that stand out way more to me than someone not putting a period. Especially because you still clearly end your thoughts.

lol . If I had a dollar for every time I saw misuse of they're, their and there I'd be rich. It's so easy to understand the usage of each one but I constantly see them misused . Also " your" and "you're" and, this one is the worst ;" would of ", "could of " , and " should of " for would've , could've and should've .

There are people that get all those right and still sound like absolute morons because of their opinion or thought. But I get it, pet peeves are all across the board different. Mine is the sound of someone chewing their food, I cant stand it to where it makes me physically uncomfortable that its hard for me to not say something to the person about it.

However, Steveno, I in no way, shape or form have a problem with your lack of periods. I was honestly just curious. Seems like you go out of your way to leave them out, so was just curious.

Mine is definitely watching tv or a movie that you're really into with someone and they set their phone on a table only for it to vibrate on the table every text. Or hanging with people and majority of the time, they're just staring at their phone the entire time. It's like why are we hanging out? Try to live in the moment people.

This is definitely a good one. I also hate when people blatantly chew with their mouth open. Or people that are on their phones while doing their business in a public bathroom and then not washing their hands afterwards.

The cubs have moved Happ around between LF, RF and 2B since drafting him. IIRC, Happ played RF in college so he's no stranger to playing the OF.

 

You have a point with Candelerio at third but I don't know what the future holds at third with Davidson, Delmonico and Saladino as the potential heirs to Frazier. I'd like to throw Candelerio's bat into the mix at third.

 

Good to know. Didn't know Happ had that much experience in the OF. Did the Cubbies move him to 2B because he sucked in OF? Bad arm? Perceived need at the time?

 

Like I said, I am all about adding another 3B prospect to the mix, especially as the 3rd or 4th piece of a Q deal, but I like our chances of finding a future 3B out of Saladino, Trey M., Davidson and Delmonico. Mainly Saladino. I just think that dude can play, and I haven't given up on Trey. Davidson and Delmonico are long shots to stick at 3B.

Tough to see the White Sox and Cubs getting together for a high profile trade, even if it made sense for each club

 

I can see the Cubs being unwilling to ship off cheap young talent that they will need to help lower payroll costs as their core hits their more expensive arbitration years upcoming

 

Yeah, the Cubs would be ideal with their positional prospects, and the guys that are blocked, but I just can't see that happening. Too much off of the field pressures. Joe SoxFan would have a meltdown if Q won the Cubs a World Series.

You think so? I don't think it matters. Same people you are talking about where the people being mentioned when it was said "Sox can never rebuild". Most people I've seen have been completely behind the rebuild. If Q brought back Ian Happ and Eloy Jimenez, I generally don't think the majority of Sox fans would care that was in Cubs rotation. I'd actually like it better because I like watching Q pitch and he'd be on locally.
