And the Giants. Although I think Melancon should be OK.

They're paying so much for Melancon and seem to be a team that is close and doesn't want to go over the luxury tax threshold so I can't really see them being a serious candidate personally.

He's still pretty good at baseball.

Yep, not a bad pitcher at all.

The White Sox run support followed him to Boston too. :D

Ha ha no kidding. Sale has a dark cloud hovering over his outings.

Blue jays are 2-10? What's up with them?

Crazy. Really would be better if Detroit/Toronto had one last hurrah and did not become sellers.

In the "who will be worst team" I always figured it would be a surprise team that ended up god awful much like the twins last year. TOR is too talented but just shows how crazy baseball is.

STill think their staff will have a really good run that gets em back to contention just doubt they can play so much over .500 rest of way to make up for this.

So Eric thames

He piqued my interest prior to going to Korea, glad to see him doing so well this go around. Wish the Sox would have been in on him. I mean, as long as he doesn't embarrass himself over the remaining 150 games, he's already been worthy of the $5 million or so he's going to be paid this year.

I wanted the Sox to sign Thames months ago. He's the real deal and would've been a great trade chip at the deadline. Oh well.

Starling Marte hit with an 80-game suspension after testing positive for Nandrolone. That's an old-school steroid. No designer drug there.

Yeah, there's no excuses for that one.
