Would be encouraging to see Giolito's velocity up a bit today.

That, and for him to miss bats in the rest of his time in this game. I don't care if you throw 96 if you don't miss bats it doesn't matter, and it defeats the purpose.

I'd have to say that I'm enjoying Thornton's commentary, I don't know about anyone else.

Yes, I was happy to see McKnight not doing this one. Otherwise I wouldn't be watching.

Angels putting out a defensive clinic there.

Bourjos triples and scores a little league HR

Eddie Alvarez follows and hits an inside the park HR

Priceless

Eddy Alvarez pop up to LF, turned into an inside the park homer. Spring training in Arizona.

You make it sound bogus . That pop up hit the top of the wall in LF and the LF'er got his foot caught under the chain link fence when he fell down after jumping and missing the fly ball. That was funny .

At what point do we start discussing the Sox as the best team in baseball? If not all time?

Seriously though, enjoying watching us this spring, for whatever its worth.

Renteria has them having fun. I saw him dancing in the dugout before a game on one video

You mean we're not discussing it already. ? It's spring, baby, they are awesome... until the season starts.

Hayes is surprising some people. Wouldn't mind to see him get 1B/DH duties if Davidson doesn't do well to begin the year

The Sox really will need a couple of the Hayes/Davidson types to stick. And then they need time to verify that they really are players. And that makes it even more critical to move these vets out.
