The question any prospective buyer has is whether they believe JQINAA. I think he is an ace. This proves it. He may not have the sexy K numbers, but the goal is to get outs and he does that better than about 10 to 15 pitchers. He still strikes out 175-180 per year over the last two so that isn't too shabby.

Yeah I rather Q just stay on the Sox and when the time comes fleece some team.

Yep. Q has a good history of staying healthy and pitching well so holding onto him is a good bet. There will be a market for him when June and July comes around. The rumor mill will be loaded with trade speculation about Q so that should be fun keep up with.

JQINAA?

Speak English?

C'mon, you don't remember when Buehrle used to get shelled on occasion people used to type MBINAA, which meant that Buehrle is not an ace? You've been here long enough to know that.

Jose Quintana is not an ace. Born out of MBINAA.

Right now it's hard to tell if Cashman, Huntington and Lunhow are excited or mad.

I thought it was another millennial thingy that I missed :D

I was highly intoxicated on a daily basis between 2003 and 2006. :D

Arguably these are bigger games for him representing his country than what he will pitch if for the White Sox but his value is huge for this organizations future. I didn't like pitching five and hate hate hate six no matter how he does.
