flavum
QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 15, 2017 -> 04:27 PM) Anderson is great. Moncada is horrific defensively I would love it if the Sox told Moncada he's playing 60 games in Birmingham no matter what. Then Charlotte for 60 games no matter (if he's ready). Then Chicago if he earns it. Go slow, and forget he ever played for the Red Sox.

Lillian
Aren't Moncada's tools kind of wasted at 2ND base? He has a great arm and exceptional speed. Sounds more like CF would be a good position for him. This team has a few capable second basemen. Are they slating him at 2ND just because that's his personal preference? Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 15, 2017 -> 05:00 PM) I guess, but for the sake of the rebuild, KC is one of the teams we don't want to be sellers in July. I think this one reason why Hahn will be very open to selling players early.

Whitesoxa6
They had a terrible angle of the second homerun on the stream but it was off herrera and the sound of the ball off that bat was sweet

Sounds more like CF would be a good position for him. This team has a few capable second basemen. Are they slating him at 2ND just because that's his personal preference? No. Speed does not equal range. He's an IF'er and 2B is a great spot for him
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 15, 2017 -> 05:12 PM) No. Speed does not equal range. He's an IF'er and 2B is a great spot for him But speed is a large component of range. Jumps and routes the others but Billy Hamilton disagrees. chitownsportsfan
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Mar 15, 2017 -> 07:53 PM) But speed is a large component of range. Jumps and routes the others but Billy Hamilton disagrees. Moving him out of the IF, after he's played there his entire career, and is on course to be an average or above average 2B, would be one of the dumbest f***ing things this org has ever done, and that's saying a lot.
