Not sure if this is posted anywhere else. If it is we can delete. Sox are cheapest and the Cubs are polar opposite as the most expensive.

With the teams relative performances, that is probably well deserved.

It wont matter. People wont be showing up to the Park for the next 3 years. I work on the southside and have never seen so much Cubs gear here.

Yeah I wonder why there's this sudden influx of Cubs gear everywhere....if only there was a logical explanation for that.

Kind of surprised how low the Dodgers were and how high the Indians are.

It looks like that chart is the average ticket prices on the secondary market according to TicPick, not tickets available through the team.

Not on the southside there is no explanation.

Yes there's a simple one, they won the World Series. Several people jumped on the bandwagon, and if you're a business and you choose not to stock merchandise that will be in high demand, I mean it's your call to lose out on extra revenue, but a very unwise move from a business standpoint. Simple.

I spent the weekend downtown for Hamilton, and I was amazed how much Cubs stuff was on the clearance racks EVERYWHERE.

I don't disagree with you, my premise is that I'm disgusted by this. It's gonna be a long three years and there is no guarantee the Sox will recover from this. If the Cubs go on a BlackHawks type run it's game over.

I for one could care less about a full stadium unless they are going to act like that's the reason they can't and won't sign a Manny Machado or other big name come FA time. (as they always do around trade deadline)

Sure it's a bit more fun to watch a game and cheer with 30,000 people. However it's very understated that I can go to the bathroom, get a beer, a polish and sit back down at my seat and miss just one at bat. At the end of that inning? I can get back up, move down 20 rows and 10 sections and try a different vantage point.

Fill my world with as much Cubby blue and bandwagon fans if it means I can watch every game for $6+ stubhub fees from wherever I want to.

At the end of the day JR pockets are still getting fat, just not as fat, and I'm enjoying the game for a lot less $$.

I laugh at the UGLY Cubs shirts and hats and look with disdain at anyone wearing them anywhere South of Madison Street.

This is like politics, you are either for Trump or against him. There is no in between ground and no talking to anyone about ever changing their allegiance. I'm a Sox fan and that will never change. I dislike the Cubs ( an understatement) and that will never change either.

I was in a south side bar/restaurant a few months ago and noted to the waitress how there was nothing but Cub s*** on the wall-half kidding of course. She told me indignantly that that was a dumb thing to say before I ordered the food and that I was a sore loser Sox fan, which was accurate
