I had heard that the beat and rhythm of the synthesiser opening to Baba was actually written based on the pulse and electrical signals that were recorded from a woman named Baba O'Riley in a medical facility. I can't remember where I heard or saw this and was unable to find it while doing a quick search on the net just now. Just a bit of insight as to where I heard the name came from.
