Rowand44
They're good. That's my analysis on the 2017 Cubs.
Nokona
I hate them and I hope they lose every game; that's my analysis of the 2017 Cubs.
Panerista
I expect them to make the playoffs and lose to a better pitching staff. That being said, as a casual observer, this Cubs regular season doesn't interest me much ESPECIALLY because the White Sox are finally showing signs of institutional awareness. soxforlife05
Less interesting to me now that they won the World Series. If the Indians didn't choke I'd be interested to see how they bounced back from a brutal World Series loss.
LittleHurt05
David Ross is at 14 minutes and 59 seconds of fame, That s*** needs to end.
Quin
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 1, 2017 -> 07:47 PM) David Ross is at 14 minutes and 59 seconds of fame, That s*** needs to end. If AJ didn't get a retirement tour where he punches everyone, Ross should get nothing.

I was so upset last year when they were giving him curtain calls and stuff during the season. The guy was a career backup catcher that played two years for the Cubs. I just couldn't understand. I had a facebook friend ask, "I need to get a Cubs world series jersey. Should I get Rizzo or a Grandpa Ross jersey?" I was shocked and disgusted at how many people said Ross. Like really? Idiots.

Jordan4life_2007
you're not going to like this, rowand44. But Kyle Schwarber eats baseballs and has me shooker than any player in baseball sans Mike Trout.

Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 9, 2017 -> 02:28 PM) Nope need more than a DH This. If we're a contender and have elite SP depth and a bat away then adios Quintana. But we're in full rebuild mode and nothing less than a bounty for Jose will suffice. Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 11, 2017 -> 11:07 AM) Get his autograph and then sell it. Not a bad move at all. I will admit to trying to get Cubs tickets for tomorrow's game when they had their pre-sale for the season but the tickets at that time were marked up 15% so I didn't think it was worth it buy them and then flip them. Yoda
QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Apr 11, 2017 -> 10:56 AM) Kris Bryant is coming to my workplace in an hour to do a promotional batting practice thing. When will this every day nightmare end Its not every day you meet a professional baseball player especially an MVP, 2-time All Star at your workplace. Personally, I would put aside my dislike for a particular baseball team and just shake the man’s hand if you’re able to. You can also do as the guys above have suggested. Get his autograph and sell it on eBay/Craigslist. I'm sure there'll be a fan out there to appreciate that.
