LittleHurt05
12.5 over under. You would think the game was at Coors, not Wrigley
caulfield12
Hoffman has been quite impressive so far this year...can only hope Giolito follows that track as TJS recovery guy eventually. Both have that FB and huge curve strikeout package. Edited June 10, 2017 by caulfield12

Nokona
On Monday it looked like everything was peachy, they were gonna run off a 10-2 stretch. Back under 500 now.
SoxAce
Rockies look fantastic. They may finally be ready to make some noise. Blackmon has been the Avi of the NL.
OmarComing25
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 10, 2017 -> 04:23 PM) Rockies look fantastic. They may finally be ready to make some noise. Blackmon has been the Avi of the NL. Their pitching is really impressive this year. Probably the best pitching staff they've ever had. caulfield12
Sanzatela or whatever his name came out of nowhere fast...and CarGo hasn't come close to getting on one of his patented streaks. Can't imagine them with Dickerson going the way he is for the Rays, too.
iamshack
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 10, 2017 -> 02:23 PM) Rockies look fantastic. They may finally be ready to make some noise. Blackmon has been the Avi of the NL. Blackmon was a great player before this year. This year he's going nuts.

OmarComing25
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 11, 2017 -> 03:12 PM) Arrieta can forget that long term contract extension... He won't get the 7 year contract he wanted, but if Samardzija can get 5/90 after the year he had with us someone will give him a nice payday. caulfield12
Russell and Schwarber go back to back. The two players struggling most, and everyone has heard about Russell's off-field issues.
Swingandalongonetoleft
What a zany genius Maddon is! Batting Rizzo leadoff = immediate HR. /green edit: Ooh, bases loaded walk as well. Panerista
QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Jun 13, 2017 -> 06:13 PM) What a zany genius Maddon is! Batting Rizzo leadoff = immediate HR. /green edit: Ooh, bases loaded walk as well. The team is hitting so poorly, JM can't really do anything wrong. If they were all hitting, I would do some deeper analytics (bat Bryant like 4th or 5th, Rizzo 3rd or 4th) but their best power guys are their best OBP guys. shipps
What is happening this season with the Cubs is pretty much what I expected to happen last year to them and vice versa. Part of development is going through serious struggles and periods of over coming doubt. Every damn thing went right for them last year. Every single thing. They skipped the development periods but it finally caught up with them.

OmarComing25
From the few games I've watched Happ looks pretty terrible in the field as well. He just looks so awkward out there.
