witesoxfan
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 20, 2017 -> 10:28 PM) I think the Cubs and Indians are locks for the WS and the Cubs win again. Parade deuce. Cubs and Indians obviously were not into it until recently. They survived the doldrums and are ready to roll again. They have the most talent, folks. The 2017 Cubs are going to go the way of the 2005 Red Sox. That rotation is not very good.
greg775
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 21, 2017 -> 04:34 AM) Just Like Kansas is a lock for every Final Four. Different sport, same playoff lottery Yes but Kansas blows it in a one loss and you are out format. The Cubs get the 7-game series to do their damage; ditto Cleveland. I really feel they survived the dog days where they couldn't get up for games after being in a WS. Now both teams are on fire. I feel like Cleveland will lose again cause the Cubs will be loose in the WS and Cleveland tight.

witesoxfan
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 21, 2017 -> 04:13 PM) 670 The ScoreVerified account @670TheScore 1h1 hour ago #Cubs' Kris Bryant isn't a sabermetrics guy http://cbsloc.al/2xxDxmo I am perfectly fine with this. He basically says that if he paid attention to it, he wouldn't enjoy baseball as much for what it is, and that is OK. He also doesn't put down those that do enjoy that kind of stuff, like Hosmer, who is still a total douche in my book.

Dick Allen
I like Phil Rogers but he just said he would rather have Lackey or Lester start a playoff game than Kershaw because of Kershaws postseason numbers up until now. Insane. Edited September 21, 2017 by Dick Allen

It's why the White Sox can sweep the 95 win Astros but it doesn't mean they are better in any way shape or form.

fathom
Can't imagine how many Cubs players would have been ejected the last two days if every call went against them like it has the last two nights for the Brewers Edited September 23, 2017 by fathom

LittleHurt05
The Cubs last 3 seasons have been about as good as the entire Reinsdorf tenure. I really hope Hahn is as smart as we think he is.
SoxAce
Absolutely ecstatic for Jose Quintana. One of my personal favorite players ever. That guy deserves to pitch in the postseason. With that being said, I hope he and his team get bounced round 1.

I think one and done but i could be way off. They get the Nats in round 1 right? That's gonna be a heckuva series. The Cubs have been hitting the crap out of the ball and are back to having dynamite pitching since July 1. Post all star break they've scored the most runs in baseball and 2nd best ERA in the NL. greg775
Cubs a lock to reach WS; ditto Cleveland. It's destined to be a rematch and Cleveland fans shouldn't assume revenge is complete. Cubs will be loose if they get that far and win it again. Then we'll be looking at a possible threepeat? My gawd. Bartman would finally come out of hibernation if Cubs win their second in a row. Who the hell would do anything but hug him then?
