Heads22
QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 6, 2017 -> 01:18 PM) Getting pumped for Mizzou/Iowa St. on friday. Take it easy on me if we lose, heads. Judging by our exhibition, I'd pick Mizzou by 15. We didn't have three guys play, but holy hell we looked rusty.

Soxbadger
Wisconsin not ranked to start the year. A lot of question marks but I think its a team that may really surprise some people. Doubt they win the Big 10, but could see them as a top 4 finisher.

Still a well coached team
Soxbadger
QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 8, 2017 -> 01:19 PM) They beat missouri in a scrimmage. Still a well coached team Sounds like Misssouri shot horrifically though. One strange stat is Happ went 5-6 on ft. If he improved there it could be big for Wisconsin. bmags
If they shot horrifically means they couldn't get to the rim.
Soxbadger
QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 8, 2017 -> 01:34 PM) If they shot horrifically means they couldn't get to the rim. here are the stats I could find: Badgers shot 25-53 (47%), including 8-20 (40%) from 3FGs and 18-24 (75%) on FTs Mizzou shot 17-57 (30%) overall and 4-22 (18%) 3FGs. Ethan Happ had 17 and 8 while Michael Porter had 24 and 8, but did not shoot a good percentage from the field. Michael Porter Jr. had 24 points on 5-of-16 shooting, while Jontay Porter added 11 points on 3-of-10 shooting.
bmags
Woof. I was really glad Missouri was able to schedule such strong scrimmages. With a team this young it's nice to get them punched in the mouth first so they know what it takes to grind and compete season long i.e. get in the weight room. bmags
Assuming Porters injury isn’t serious very happy with tonight. Tilmon was awesome, and it showed that the complimentary pieces on this team are strong. 15 pt win vs Iowa State is a good win, especially without your best player. Rowand44
Porter injury is just minor, right? Caught the last 7 or so minutes of the game at a bar and didn't realize he got hurt.

Brian
I thought Michigan would surprise some people but they are barely beating bad teams and don't look very cohesive yet. Underestimated the loss of Walton. Charles Mathews, Kentucky transfer, looks solid though.
