daggins Posted April 5, 2017 Share Posted April 5, 2017 This makes a lot of sense, as he replaces Volstad/Danish as the first guy up if they lose a starter. Maybe there's enough there to work with that he can be viewed as a capable back of the rotation starter for a contender and he gets flipped for a couple of pieces. Scott Feldman looked like a lost cause when the Cubs signed him, and they turned him into Arrietta and Strop. Not saying it will happen, but that's your best case scenario.
