Sleepy Harold
Infante for the Knights just got hit in what looks like the face with a line drive, he's up and walked off the field under his own power, scary moment.
caulfield12
Spoke way too soon about Lopez's night. OOPS. Assumed he was getting pulled. Edited April 12, 2017 by caulfield12
Sleepy Harold
MONCADA ALERT, 2 on 1 out top 9, down 4-1.
Sleepy Harold
Moncada Ks looking, pitch at the knees that the Bulls commentators said hadn't been called too often tonight, Delmonico follows up with a bloop single to LF, Knights down 4-2, 2 on 2 out, Garcia up. caulfield12
I think that's 9 strikeouts on the season...heading for that mid 30% range in the early going.
CWSpalehoseCWS
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 11, 2017 -> 09:19 PM) I think that's 9 strikeouts on the season...heading for that mid 30% range in the early going. That BB% is over 10 though.
fathom
QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Apr 12, 2017 -> 02:23 AM) That BB% is over 10 though. Still way too many K for someone with his speed and not plus-plus power. Noticed in spring training he gets a lot of K looking

SoxAce
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 11, 2017 -> 09:26 PM) Noticed in spring training he gets a lot of K looking That doesn't bother me as much. Means he actually has a clue at the plate and not swinging at crap low and away or high in the zone.
caulfield12
Ray Durham was 1201K/7408AB. Only 16%. Obviously, Moncada's projected to have a bit more power, but we should HOPE that he gets that percentage at least into the mid 20's before he's promoted to Chicago. CWSpalehoseCWS
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 11, 2017 -> 09:26 PM) Still way too many K for someone with his speed and not plus-plus power. Noticed in spring training he gets a lot of K looking I'm not disagreeing, but I'd be much more worried if he never drew a walk and was K'ing all over. But still WAY to early and a small sample size to draw conclusions from.
