This is awful. Hahn f***ed up big time.

Jose Quintana is controlled thru 2020. 2 starts to begin 2017 is not going to define him.

That said, he obviously needs to figure it out.

Not taking back Glasnow and some garbage for Q? Nah, Hahn made the right choice.

Quintana has all season to fix this. And even if he doesn't, he cna fix it next year and his high value will return...and the contract will still be amazing.

If you go to your job Monday morning and they tell you that they are doing everything in their power to make sure you don't work there anymore is your focus and performance going to be the same? No, no it's not. I'd bet Q was watching out for trade rumors everyday just like all of us were. How could he not?

It's funny how some players always are beloved and get the benefit of the doubt, like Q. And others are despised, like Avi. Q has been pathetic this year. It's just a fact. No malice, but face facts. Any team would be crazy to give up a haul for him. That's why you deal Robertson now, before he becomes human again.

That foul ball homerun by Jose reminded me of that one Austin Jackson foul ball that he hit at Target field last year that would have been a grand slam. It went right between the foul pole and that wall...like not even 10 inches of space.

Uh, Q and Robertson have track records. Avi doesn't. Simple as that.

Fair enough, but that's the result of good contact. It's not sustainable obviously, but if he keeps hitting the ball hard his BABIP should be around 330 at the end of the year.

It's SSS to be sure, but it's also fun to speculate on message boards.

Q gave up 5 runs and then 9 runs in his first and third starts of 2015. Everyone calm the **** down.

Frazier has just become a horrible hitter. He's cost himself an insane amount of money

This past offseason should scare him. He's probably looking at one year deals the rest of his career.

I'd still make the trade again based on his cost (which turned out to be next to nothing) but he's been a fairly large disappointment.

Absolutely....isn't it amazing though how established veterans keep coming here and seemingly forget how to play? Dunn, LaRoche and Keppinger
