caulfield12
Charlotte is pissed off after 0-7 and back at home. Lightning attack. Won't use the German word, lol...
thxfrthmmrs
Fulmer has his hands full tonight vs that Red Sox lineup.
flavum
If Dunning throws another 6-7 innings of zeros, I think he will get his Low A diploma.
maxjusttyped
Video of Moncada's HR. His lefty swing is sooo smooth. https://twitter.com/KnightsBaseball/status/...483868522512384 Edited April 19, 2017 by maxjusttyped

BlackSox13
QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 06:37 PM) If Dunning throws another 6-7 innings of zeros, I think he will get his Low A diploma. Yeah, Kanny has a handful of names that should be getting bumped up to WS in the near future. Dunning, Hansen, Booker, Roman and Remillard are all off to good starts for Kanny. Chicago White Sox
Why in the world are Basabe & Call sitting two days in a row? Injuries?? Also, Johan Cruz with his 6th 2B on the season. He has a real chance to shoot up the prospect ranks.
Sleepy Harold
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 07:25 PM) Why in the world are Basabe & Call sitting two days in a row? Injuries?? Also, Johan Cruz with his 6th 2B on the season. He has a real chance to shoot up the prospect ranks. Call is on the 7 Day DL currently, not sure about Basabe. Dunning with the K to get out of a bases loaded jam.

maxjusttyped
Nice to see Fulmer settle down after a shaky start. Anyone know how his stuff looked tonight?
maxjusttyped
QUOTE (Sleepy Harold @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 07:42 PM) Collins picked off a runner from 1st. He is so much better than advertised at dealing with the running game it's absurd.
Sleepy Harold
6 scoreless for Dunning now as well, seems to be handling Kanny with ease. 84 pitches thru 6.
maxjusttyped
On the SSS podcast someone who covers WS mentioned Basabe was dealing with an oblique injury last week. I'm not sure if that's why he's sat the last 2 games, but just an fyi.
flavum
Dunning out after 6 innings. 0.45 ERA, 1 walk
caulfield12
Dunning needs to be challenged. That's it. Tmrw we get another Giolito start, hopefully we can see some actual results of the "process."
Sleepy Harold
Charlotte wins 3-1, finally gets off the schnied.
daggins
Louie Lechich was finally scored on Micker 2-4 with a 2B and a K Collins struggling at the plate but positive reports on his defense give me hope.
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 07:00 PM) Video of Moncada's HR. His lefty swing is sooo smooth. https://twitter.com/KnightsBaseball/status/...483868522512384 I'm not even kidding, I don't know if he has a right-handed hit yet this season. EDIT: He is 1 for 12 as a righty, and it was a HR apparently. He is hitting .406 as a lefty. In 2016, he hit .167 as a righty, and .305 as a lefty. caulfield12
Where did the 6'2" measurement for Moncada come from? He always looks closer to 5'10" or 5'11".
