caulfield12
http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20170421 Two more Moncada K's. Close to 40% k rate....last year it was much lower (124/405), but more experienced pitchers in AAA. W Garcia and Liriano doing some damage. Finally, old friend JB Shuck making an appearance for the opposition. Mason Robbins 1st homer for Barons. fathom
Those strikeouts come in bunches for Moncada
fathom
Something that will be interesting to watch is if Collins can hit lefties. It's been very ugly so far vs LHP for him

Feeky Magee
Kyle Kubat has been mowing people down out of the Kanny bullpen so far. 10.2 IP, 16K, 1BB, 0.84 ERA. UDFA who put up decent but unspectacular numbers in 2 years in the Royals org, and seems to have only a c.85mph fastball.
Rowand44
Two more hits, a walk and no k's for Roman. I'm becoming enthralled with that dude because he's such a different prospect.

Jake
Is Hawkins going to last the whole season? 27 K in 56 PA, .164 AVG/.175 OBP thus far
witesoxfan
QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 22, 2017 -> 12:38 PM) Is Hawkins going to last the whole season? 27 K in 56 PA, .164 AVG/.175 OBP thus far Not going to work as a hitter. May as well try him as a pitcher, nothing to lose at this point.
Jake
When he's even regressing within a level (on track for third straight year in AA, playing worse each time) you know it has to be mental. You just wonder why and how it gets that way...there's probably someone closer to him, like a manager, who has a sense for what's going on in his head but can't really say it in public. Keenyn Walker had a similar trajectory for a while though he never had the same kind of talent.
