CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Sox win 12-1. Miguel Gonzales 8 innings of 2 hit ball. Matt Davidson 3/4, 4 RBI , triple short of the cycle. And his single was a rocket high off the left field padding. Tim Anderson with 3 hits. Swarzak an inning or perfect relief and still carrying the 0 ERA Leury Garcia 3 hits

Quin
I'm thinking Q just did a Space Jam style ability transfer to Holland, Gonzalez and Shields. He takes his powers back after the trade deadline.
OmarComing25
In the last 10 games Anderson's strikeout rate is under 16%, nice to see.
bmags
Unlike last year where our bullpen was great but had questionable sustainability with no k machines like Albers, I think Swarzak and Kahnle are for real. Edit: I should say last April.
southsider2k5
There are a lot of small sample sizes so far, but the Sox pitching to this point has been A+ as a team. Q is the only one who really is pitching below his level, and it is my guess that a lot of that is from off-field distractions more than anything else. Agreed - he has not been K'ing much. Very good sign especially after the first week of the season. But I don't recall a ton of hard hit balls so far which is evident in his .259 BABIP.I can only think of a few off the top of my head - a couple against Tanaka last week and then one on Salazar on Sunday. But I'd like to see him use the middle of the field a bit more, been pulling his balls lately.
