Get the sweep. I always knew KC's window would be brief, but I had no idea they would get this bad this fast. Give them credit they won one, but they had 2 crazy comebacks in the playoffs, first in the WC game in 2014, and then vs. Houston in 2015, without, their entire 30 year rebuild would have been for naught.

Today's lineup:

1. Tim Anderson ® SS

2. Tyler Saladino ® 2B

3. Melky Cabrera (S) LF

4. Jose Abreu ® 1B

5. Todd Frazier ® 3B

6. Avisail Garcia ® RF

7. Matt Davidson ® DH

8. Geovany Soto ® C

9. Leury Garcia (S) CF

that's like uh, actually a solid lineup.

I think Leury Garcia has silently become our starting CF, and Davidson is on his way to doing the same at DH.

No doubt, and both have earned it. It's nice to see some of these no longer prospects but still young enough to be around in 2020 guys step up early.

He did. Pitching against a team that can't hit helps your stats.

In some of his starts, he seemed to be reverting to old habits (nibbling) and sacrificing some of his strengths (fewer first pitch strikes). He wasn't locating his changeup or slider. It would certainly be sad if this KC lineup hit Quintana, but so far his command has been good and I've liked his aggressiveness. Up to six strikeouts.
