caulfield12
Have to fix the dates. Dunning 6 up, six down, 2 k's, minuscule ERA. Toying with the SAL. Touching 96-97. Justin Jirschele at 27 is the youngest manager in all of MILB. Sterling Sharp, same as the former NFL WR minus an E, pitching for Hagerstown. flavum
Dunning has that 09 Daniel Hudson feel. Hudson in 09- Kannapolis 4 GS/ 22 inn Winston Salem 8/45 Birmingham 9/ 56.1 Charlotte 5/24 Then he got called up. This isn't a year for Dunning to get called up, but I can see him flying through the system.
flavum
10 of 12 outs for Dunning Ks or ground outs.
Sleepy Harold
Dunning has 7 Ks thru 6 scoreless IP, 2 H, 1 BB. 88 pitches right now.
caulfield12
7 k's in 6 ip, 88 pitches...1 walk. Nice combo of sliders and slow curves to go with fastball. Just two hits, both singles. Will be on a short rope to get the CG 7IP. Btw, 4th DH for Hagerstown already this season, five total rainouts in April. Only four lost games in all of 2016. Zavala with the homer to CF for 1-0 lead, 3rd of season. Edited April 26, 2017 by caulfield12

The scouting reports pegged him with above-average stuff, but as more of a feel for pitching kinda guy. If he's throwing that hard we might have something huge on our hands. caulfield12
That's what the Kanny broadcast team claimed.

These guys are no match for Dunning. He hasn't let up a run since his first inning pitched this year! Ya, at this point it's not doing him any good to be down there. Time to challenge him at least a little bit.

SoxAce
Sox scouts getting a good look at some players people liked here (Tucker, Kieboom, Soto) this week. Soto in particular has been pretty damn good to start. Intriguing prospect at 18.
caulfield12
Okay, then he said his fastball had touched 97 (at some point this season) or I misheard when I turned on the pregame and it was Sterling Sharp (the opposing pitcher) he was referring to. I definitely expected a much worse line when I saw this post. through 4 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 6 Ks Not a great start, but far from 'f***ing garbage' Edited April 27, 2017 by TomPickle
